January 10, 2021 marks the 20 year anniversay of Merchant Accounts.ca. In 20 years we've worked with some of the largest brands in the world. We've worked with home based businesses. We have setup merchant accounts in every major international currency in every industrialized country across the globe. You would think that we've seen it all but in truth we meet interesting clients with fascinating new business ventures every day.
From the Early Days of E-commerce
E-commerce has to be one of the fastest moving and evolving industries on the planet. It may sound cliche, but in this industry if you do not innovate you stagnate. Adoption of new technologies (mobile payments, social media, etc) has resulted in an ever changing marketplace that moves along at lightning speed.
I would have to say that if there is one requirement or characteristic that is required in order to work in the e-commerce payments industry it must be a desire to keep learning. I've used this principle to build a team of individuals who are passionate about our work, who are eager to keep learning, and who want to deliver cutting edge payment solutions to our clients.
Over the last 20 years, in terms of accomplishments, the achievement that we are collectively most proud of is the fact that we have not only built Merchant Accounts.ca into one of Canada's most visible e-commerce brands, but have built a reputation for honesty and integrity in an industry that is often not friendly to the business owner. Our clients genuinely enjoy working with us. We have managed not only to become a significant player in the e-commerce sector, but we have built and maintained a rock solid reputation over a period of 20 years.
It's not rocket science. We provide honest pricing. We know our clients names. We take an interest in their business. We are knowledgeable and have a desire to keep learning.
